SESSION 1: DESCRIPTION:
IEEE PES SBC SCTCE held three 15-minute sessions titled Powerpods 4.0, on the 25th, 26th, and 27th October 2023. The first session conducted by Pranav Baburajan (Secretary, IEEE PES SBC SCTCE) on 25th October 2023, was based on the topic “Advances in algorithms for power system static state estimators”, an article from the January/February 2023 edition of the Power and Energy Magazine. This talk session was instrumental in simplifying and presenting the topic effectively to the participants. This 15 minute session highlighted the important points and notable information of the topic, providing a basic overview of the article. This online session had a total participation count of 42.

This 15 minute session provided a basic introduction to the article, citing necessary facts and reducing the rather complex topic to its roots.
