IEEE Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter became a part of IEEE SCT SB on April 27, 2019. G Harikrishnan was the founding chairman and Deepa A K was the advisor in charge. The inaguration of the Society was alongside a workshop on E-Mobility which was conducted by Kerala Section as a part of its “Key Elements of Smart Cities” Workshop series with various experts from IEEE PES, NATPAC, EMC, NIIST, C-DAC and UBER delivered lectures.
